Protech - Microsoft Outage – Incident details

This incident has been resolved.

Microsoft has identified an issue with impacted customers with a SQL memory grant contention issue requiring a SQL service recycle. This has been completed for impacted customers and technicians are currently monitoring.

A potential contributing factor has been identified and a mitigation change has been implemented to help improve stability. Technicians are currently monitoring the results and performing additional validation to confirm the effectiveness of the change.

We now have engagement with MS and have confirmed that there is a SQL DB issue in South Central US. Corrective actions are not known at this point
